Planning and Permitting
Step One: Logistics
We will evaluate, discuss and establish plans for factors including material selection, design feasibility and logistics. We will define the project’s goals, objectives, and scope. We also identify any potential obstacles or risks that may need to be addressed during the construction process. We will reach out to the local municipality to ask about feasibility, setbacks, zoning and drainage ratios for your project.
Step Two: Cost
We will develop project estimates, conceptual budgets, an overall schedule of events, and provide an engineering package if needed. We will seek out vendor bids during this step to ensure the procurement phase meets budgetary expectations.
Step Three: Permit Acquisition
During this stage, we will discuss the required permits and develop a schedule for obtaining them. Depending on how large or extensive the project is, the permitting agency may require a site plan. The site plan will show that the proposed construction is in line with state building and zoning codes.
Step Four: Finalization
We will have a pre-construction walk-through where we’ll finalize details and get ready to kick off construction! We’ll discuss the project sequence, key dates, production schedule, and review the scope of work.
Step Five: Kickoff!
Once your project is fully worked out and a path forward is reached, we will move your project from planning into production. This exciting step is where you will begin to see your vision take shape.
